Ronto Group Tops Off Tampa Luxury Condo Tower

1 min read

In 2022, the project was subject to a construction loan of $72,5 million.

The Ronto Grouphas completed the top of Altura Bayshore in Tampa, Fla. The construction began less than a month ago, and is expected to be finished in 2024.

Early in 2022, JLL arranged for $72,5 million of construction financing to be provided by MSD Partners LP. Curts Gaines Hall Jones Architects designed the 23-story tower, and Connor & Gaskins Unlimited was appointed as general contractor.

The property will include two-, three and four-bedroom layouts, ranging in size from 2,443 square feet to 3,575, as well as three penthouses. The interiors will include stainless steel appliances, quartz or granite countertops, private elevator foyers, and separate laundry rooms. The rooftop amenities include a spa, barbecue grills, and a clubhouse. The fourth-floor amenity deck includes a fitness centre, pickleball courts and bocce, a terrace and fire pit, and a dogpark.

The site, located at 2910 W. Barcelona St. is 4 miles away from downtown Tampa and just off the Selmon Expressway. The SoHo district, Hyde Park Village and the Hyde Park Village are also nearby.

Florida has been a leader in condominium development and is a state that benefits greatly from the influx of migrants. Luxury projects will still do well, even though new building regulations have put a strain on this sector. Construction on another luxury condo in Tampa began recently. The 38-story, Arquitectonica-designed condo community is rising atop a hotel.
