Forum Capital Advisors Seals Equity for Florida Project

The project, located in Fort Myers is scheduled to be completed in 2025.

Forum Capital Advisors LLC closed a $26-million preferred equity investment to develop a community near Fort Myers in Florida. When completed, The Tailor Apartments offer 384 apartments.

Joe Chickey (Managing Director & Portfolio Manager at Forum) said in prepared remarks that the project was being led by an experienced sponsor who has 25 years’ experience in affordable and market-rate communities in the Southeast.

Tailor Apartments is composed of eight buildings, each of which will have three or four stories and will offer layouts with two and three bedrooms. The amenities will include a dog park, cornhole court, outdoor kitchen and pool. There will also be 48 garages with 718 parking spots. The construction is scheduled to be completed in 2025.

Oritz Avenue is home to a variety of retail and entertainment venues, including Top Golf and Target. Walmart, Home Depot, and Publix are also within a mile. Downtown Fort Myers can be reached in less than 15 minutes. The Tailor Apartments are only 20 minutes away from the Lee Memorial Hospital and Florida Southwestern University. Interstate 75 and Highway 82 provide residents with access to Fort Myers, southern Florida and the surrounding area.

A celebrity-backed partnership, located in Wellington to the east of Fort Myers, is building a luxury residential club on 600 acres. Project will include public horseback-riding center, commercial center, and park. Tiger Woods, Justin Timberlake and other names are associated with this project.
